Uto Balmoral is a virtual designer. He hides his true identity just as a modern Peter Parker. An artistic project that derives from a personal reflection upon the situation of contemporary design. The provocation comes from the attempt of making a reverse course where the designer becomes a personality not at the end of a course but from the beginning.
Uto defines his image starting from its denial in a game of balance between will/need of appearing and hiding oneself.
Uto begins with the show Maybe/Forse at the DAAL Galleria of Ventura during the Milan Design week, presenting his limited series collection of “Unstables” tables and the lamp family "The Putrella's Connection".
Uto's research is that of a design that has meaningful, metaphorical value and that triggers a process going beyond aesthetics and functionality as only reasons of being. He designs for Tonelli Design, Officinanove, Luce 5 of which he is also art director, and works with artists and galleries of international fame.

MAINTENANCE: Ceramic should be cleaned with a wet sponge and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaning products. Do not use a steam cleaner. For best results, it is recommended that you use a limestone cleaning gel. It is best to remove fresh stains as quickly as possible as there is the potential risk that over time the stain can penetrate the pores of the ceramic. In the event that a stain has been present on the ceramic for some time, use a solution mixed from bicarbonate soda and water. Rub the surface, allowing the solution to penetrate the stain, and then wipe it off with a wet sponge.
